The Cave of The Winds in Colorado Springs
The Cave of the Winds offers something for everyone of all ages, they are continually expanding and bringing new adventures to Colorado Springs. You will be able to explore some of the caves in Colorado Springs, while learning about cave wildlife and formations. They have 3 different tours to fit your parties needs perfectly. You will be entertained for hours from climbing around in the caves, taking a zipline, testing your skills on the ropes course, playing in the game room or free falling off a cliff. The Cave of the Winds is more than just caves its a small outdoors amusement park with lots to see and do!
The Caves at the Cave of the Winds
If you would like to explore the different caves it is recommended to always make reservations in advance, there you will be guarenteed that you will be able to go into the cave of your choice. There are three different tours that they offer something for everyone or try all three of them if you love caves.
Discovery Tour
is the easiest tour where you will go on a 45 minute walk through the caves and see all of the magnificent things the caves have to offer, from the different formations to potentially wildlife.
Lantern Tour
Is a tour in the dark, you need to bring a flashlight or headlamp and you see a differnt part of the caves in the dark.
Caving 101
This is the most adventours tour where you get to explore the caves how you want to. You need a flashlight or head lamp as well and you crawl into different cave area. You feel like you are a real cave explorer. It is reccomended to bring another pair of clothes.
The Bat A Pult
Is a zipline that goes over the valley at the Caves of the Windyou will travel over 1,200 feet and experience speeds of over 40mph. It is a great thrill and a fun way to see some great views over the Colorado Springs Outdoors.
Terror-dactyl
Is the scariest and most thrill taking ride they have at the Cave of the Winds, you were pretty much get dropped off the cliff and dive directly down into the valley reaching speeds over 100 mph. The Terror of doom is nothing compared to this. If you are thrill taker and want to try the latest rides this is for you.
Wind Walker Challenge Course
This is a ropes course over a 600 foot drop into the canyon at the Cave of the Winds. Where you will be able to test your skills and try all of the challenges this course has to offer.

From Memorial Day to Labor Day 9am- 9pm
September - May 10am - 5pm
